Setting the default record type

Each schema must have a default record type. This record type is used to create new records when no other record type is specified.

About this task

To set the default record type for a schema:

Procedure

  1. Start the Designer.
  2. In the Workspace, click the Record Types or Record Types - Stateless folder.
  3. Right-click the record type to use as the default type.
  4. Select Default Record Type.
