URLofEntity tag

Use this tag to insert a URL that takes the user directly to the record that triggered the email rule.

Synopsis

: URLofEntity{::<linktext>}

Description

This tag is replaced with a URL that is generated to take the user directly to the record that caused the email rule to be triggered. The Rational® ClearQuest® web server credentials are those defined in the EmailPlusSiteConfig record for the site where the record is mastered. If no site record exists for the replica, the <default> value is used. If no web servers are defined, then no URL are generated.

Attention: There is security risk using the Rational ClearQuest web server credentials with the URLofEntity tag. Credentials are exposed in plain text.

<linktext>: An optional string that provides descriptive or contextual information about the content of the link's destination.

Example

This example inserts a URL into an email, and then displays the URL as Click Here To Visit Record:
