Defining the behavior of fields
When you add fields to a record type, you must define field
behavior.
Procedure
To define the behavior of a field:
- Start the Designer.
- In the Schema Repository Explorer view, expand the Record Types or Record Types - Stateless folder and then expand the folder for the record type.
- Expand the States and Actions folder and double-click on an action to open the Record Actions grid.
- Click the Behaviors tab to open the Field Behaviors Section.
- In the Field Behaviors Section, right-click the column of the field that you want to define and select a behavior for the field.
