Setting schema compare preferences

You can use the Rational® ClearQuest® Designer Preferences window to customize the default behavior of a schema comparison.

Procedure

To set the schema compare preferences:

  1. Start the Designer.
  2. Click Window > Preferences. The Preferences window opens.
  3. Expand the Rational ClearQuest Designer node and click Compare/Merge.
  4. Select Show reference repair status only if there are errors.
  5. Select Ignore white space if you do not want your schema comparison results to include the addition or deletion of white space as a difference between the schemas.
  6. Click Apply or click OK to close the window.
