Testing the schema and upgrading the user database

After you finish customizing your schema, you should test the changes against your test user database. If the testing reveals any problems, check out the schema and correct the problems; then verify that the fixes work. When you are satisfied with the testing, upgrade your user database, which is your production user database, with the latest version of the schema.
