Running queries

This tutorial module illustrates how to use the Rational® ClearQuest® CM API to run a query.
After you have identified an available user database and are logged in to it, you can use the Rational ClearQuest CM API to run an existing query.

Learning objectives

After completing the lessons in this module you will understand the concepts and know how to do the following:
  • Learn about the Rational ClearQuest CM API object and programming models for Rational ClearQuest queries and result sets
  • Understand the Rational ClearQuest CM API interfaces for running a query
  • Understand how to write client application code for running a query

Prerequisites

To complete this module, you will need to have completed the previous module, where you learned how to get a Provider object and how to get the list of available user databases.
