Change your display settings

This exercise shows how to change the visual appearance of the query results grid. To complete this exercise, you need to have a query in your Personal Queries folder. If you do not have a query, create one by completing the Create a query by using the Query wizard exercise.

To change the display settings for your query results grid, perform the following steps:
  1. In the Rational® ClearQuest® client workspace, expand your Personal Queries folder.
  2. Double-click one of your queries, such as NotClosedorResolved. Rational ClearQuest runs the query and displays the results in the query grid.
  3. Click Edit > Grid Properties.
  4. In the Tiles and Gridlines area of the Display Settings window, clear the Horizontal Lines check box.
  5. In the Color area, select Grid Lines and click the red block from the color palette. Notice how the grid in the Preview area changes to reflect your choices.
  6. Click OK. Your new settings are applied to the query grid.

To make your new display settings the default settings, select the Save Settings to profile check box in the Display Settings window.
