Overview of change requests

The exercises in this module show you how to work with change requests. Development teams use change requests to record defects, requests for enhancements to existing features, and requests for new features. Rational® ClearQuest® stores change requests as records in a user database. In this module you will perform the following change request tasks:

  1. Submit a change request
  2. Modify a change request
  3. Transition a change request to another state
  4. Use a template to submit change requests
  5. Attach a file to a change request
